Event description

The emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic has caused public schools nationwide to close for the time being. Now, communities are facing an on-line education environment; however, not all students have equal resources at home.

Join this webinar to learn how Cradlepoint can help deliver connectivity to students who otherwise wouldn’t have the Internet at home via school buses with cellular-connected routers and Wi-Fi access capability parked in students’ neighborhoods.

We will also hear from South Bend Community Schools Corporation in Indiana to learn how they deliver Wi-Fi access to students at home by using this school bus method.

At-home students can receive:

  • Secure network access to complete lessons from a phone, tablet, or computer
  • Content filtering to limit what websites can be accessed
  • Threat protection

Speakers

  • Michael Dickens, Cradlepoint

  • Steve Carr, Cradlepoint

  • Rene Sanchez, South Bend Community Schools

  • Patrick Stalvey, South Bend Community Schools
