# Ericsson NetCloud Private

NetCloud Private is a customer-hosted Wireless WAN management solution for organizations that require strict control over data location, security, and operations. Purpose-built for government agencies, critical-infrastructure operators, and other regulated enterprises that deploy Ericsson Cradlepoint 5G/LTE routers and adapters across vehicle fleets, fixed sites, and IoT networks, it delivers the efficiency of centralized management while keeping network-management and telemetry data within the preferred environment.

## Supporting Requirements for Data Residency, Controls, and Compliance

NetCloud Private allows the installation and operation of the centralized management platform in a customer-hosted, controlled environment. By running on-premises or in a customer-selected in-country or national cloud, NetCloud Private keeps management and telemetry data within approved boundaries and facilities to support data residency, privacy, regulatory, and governance requirements.

Organizations retain end-to-end oversight of infrastructure, data handling, access, and operational controls so that customer-defined operational policies can be enforced consistently across distributed fleets and locations.

NetCloud Private simplifies operations across thousands of distributed 5G/LTE routers and adapters from a customer-hosted platform for deployments in vehicles, branches, remote sites, or IoT environments. With NetCloud Private, organizations can streamline device onboarding, registration, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting while applying consistent security policies and operational controls. Centralized configuration helps deliver reliable, repeatable operations at scale while supporting internal governance and regulatory requirements.

## Simplify Lifecycle Management and Optimize Connectivity

Gain actionable visibility through alerts, diagnostics, logs, and cellular health metrics to quickly identify changing conditions, accelerate issue resolution, and optimize connectivity across diverse deployments. NetCloud Private’s centralized management tracks the device lifecycle with controlled, scheduled firmware and security updates, helping keep distributed infrastructure current while aligning updates with organizational security, change-management, and risk-management practices.

## Security and Compliance

Access control and accountability – Role-based access control (RBAC), change-controlled workflows, and operational practices support governance, facilitate oversight, and help satisfy compliance requirements.

Optional protected management traffic – Certificate-based authentication and TLS encryption in Ericsson NetCloud help keep device management and telemetry data secure during monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.

## Ordering Guide

Ericsson NetCloud Private is a customer hosted, basic device manager for approved isolated network customers. Activation and use of Ericsson NetCloud Private is only sold as a NetCloud Service plan, separate from traditional Ericsson NetCloud Service plans.
