Cradlepoint and Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions are the same corporate entity. Canonical marketing domain: `https://cradlepoint.ericsson.com`.

- **Markdown twins (`/md/`):** Many pages have an LLM-ready markdown twin at the page URL plus `md/` (e.g. `/products/endpoints/e300/md/` or `/developer/api/net-device-health/md/`). - **API credentials:** Log into NetCloud Manager → Tools → NetCloud API. v3 issues a Bearer token; v2 issues CP API-ID/key and ECM API-ID/key pairs. Do not look for keys on the marketing domain.
- **API version split:** Physical router/fleet management (`routers`, `groups`, `net_devices`, `alerts`, `firmwares`, `accounts`, `locations`) is **v2-only**. `/api/v3/routers` does not exist. v3 covers `subscriptions`, `users`, `private_cellular_*`, `exchange_resources`, and `exchange_sites`. Use v3 for new integrations only where the resource exists in v3.
- **v3** base `https://api.cradlepointecm.com/api/v3/` — no trailing slash (e.g. `/api/v3/subscriptions`). Auth: `Authorization: Bearer <token>`. Content-Type: `application/vnd.api+json`. Cursor pagination via `page[after]`; do not calculate offsets.
- **v2** base `https://www.cradlepointecm.com/api/v2/` — trailing slash **required** (e.g. `/api/v2/routers/`). Omitting it redirects and counts as two billed calls. Auth: `X-CP-API-ID`, `X-CP-API-KEY`, `X-ECM-API-ID`, `X-ECM-API-KEY`. Content-Type: `application/json`. Pagination: `?limit=N&offset=M`; follow `meta.next`. Expandable fields exist on v2 only.
- **Rate limits:** Every response includes `X-RateLimit-Limit`, `X-RateLimit-Remaining`, and `X-RateLimit-Reset`. On `429`, wait until `X-RateLimit-Reset`. On `401`, the version prefix must match the credential format (Bearer vs API-key headers); regenerate expired keys under Tools → NetCloud API.
- **Python SDK:** `pip install ncm`. Official samples, Postman collection, and Script Manager live at `https://github.com/cradlepoint/api-samples`.
- **Endpoint slugs:** Hyphenate OpenAPI tags in docs URLs (`net_device_health` → `/developer/api/net-device-health/md/`).
- **Sales:** Channel only (distributors/MSPs). No public checkout or list pricing on this domain.

## API Details

- **What the API does:** manage routers, groups, configuration, and firmware across a fleet; query network metrics, device health, locations, and signal data; configure private cellular networks, cores, SIMs, and radios; manage subscriptions and user accounts; set up webhook alert destinations for real-time events.
- **v2 auth headers** (all four required on every `/api/v2/` request): `X-CP-API-ID`, `X-CP-API-KEY`, `X-ECM-API-ID`, `X-ECM-API-KEY`. Generated in NetCloud Manager separately from v3 tokens. Not declared as a named securityScheme in the OpenAPI document; the headers are inline required parameters on each operation.
- **v3 auth**: `Authorization: Bearer <token>`; declared as `tokenAuth` in the OpenAPI `securitySchemes`.
- **Not interchangeable**: a Bearer token is rejected on `/api/v2/`, and API-key headers are rejected on `/api/v3/`.
- **v3 resources** (everything else is v2): `subscriptions`, `users`, `private_cellular_networks`, `private_cellular_cores`, `private_cellular_sims`, `private_cellular_radios`, `private_cellular_radio_groups`, `private_cellular_radio_statuses`, `exchange_resources`, `exchange_sites`.

Debugging a 401, in order: (1) does the path start with `/api/v2/` or `/api/v3/`? (2) is the auth scheme the one for that version? (3) has the token/key expired or been revoked? (4) is the base URL the one for that version?
