Fujitsu - UK & Ireland

Fujitsu is a global systems integrator that has partnered with Ericsson since 2018 to deliver private cellular and industrial connectivity for manufacturing customers. In the UK, Fujitsu's integrator arm deployed an Ericsson private 5G network for Jaguar Land Rover at its Solihull plant, connecting IoT sensors and cameras across body shops and paint shops that had previously suffered coverage black spots. The deployment uses licensed spectrum and supports condition monitoring use cases that continue to expand across the site.

The Fujitsu-Ericsson relationship is formalized through a global memorandum of understanding covering Ericsson Industry Connect and Ericsson Private Networks, combining Fujitsu's systems integration expertise with Ericsson's wireless connectivity portfolio to help manufacturers plan, scope and implement digital transformation projects.
